Finish Details: The body has been professionally refinished and relic'd. The fretboard has been oversprayed as part of a prior refret; the finish on the headstock and the back of the neck appears original.

Body Details: Solid two piece ash body. The body has been fully stripped and refinished. There is an "8-54" date marking underneath the finish inside the trem cavity.

Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound maple fingerboard, skunk stripe, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has been refretted and the fretboard oversprayed, and the nut has been replaced. The neck heel has a "16-11-55" pencil date.
Electronics: The guitar has been fully rewired and the pickups have been replaced with Lollar Blackface pickups. Controls include 5-way toggle selector switch, master volume control, neck tone control, and middle pickup tone control. The original electronics have not been included.
Pickup Measurements: 6.2k (neck), 6.5k (middle), 6.6k (bridge)
Hardware: All the gold hardware is not original-- the bridge, trem arm, output jack cup, tuners, strap buttons, string tree, neck plate, neck bolts, and pickguard screws have all been replaced. The original hardware is included in the case.

Cosmetic Condition: The body has been professionally refinished and relic'd. The fingerboard has been oversprayed as part of the refret; there is some wear visible underneath the new finish. The back of the neck is smooth and has light finish checking, as does the headstock face.

Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the frets are medium height with minor wear, and the truss rod is functional. The neck pencil marks date to 1955, and the body has a 1954 date; the body appears original to the neck.
