Finish Details: Original, aside from the fingerboard which has been oversprayed post-refret

Body Details: Solid two piece alder body. The middle pickup cavity has a "2-57" pencil date.

Neck Details: Bolt-on one pice maple neck with unbound maple fingerboard, dot inlays, skunk stripe, and heel-adjust truss rod. The neck has been refretted and the fingerboard oversprayed; the nut has also been replaced. There is a "3-57" pencil date on the heel.
Electronics: Original black bobbin single coil pickups; the switch, neck tone pot, and tone cap are original as well. The master volume pot and middle pickup tone pot are not original.
Pickup Measurements: 5.8k (neck),5.8k (middle), 6.3k (bridge)
Hardware: Original; the trem arm is included.

Case Details: Original hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has moderately heavy cosmetic wear; the finish is glossy with light checking, numerous small dents and dings, and assorted scratches. There are patches of wear along the sides of the body, moderate buckle rash on the back of the body, and some heavier wear along the treble side of the body. The back of the neck has additional dings and small patches of wear, and plays comfortably. The metal hardware has tarnished nicely with age.

Tech Notes: Plays well with low action and optimal neck relief; the frets are narrow and tall with minor wear. The original pot code, body/neck dates, and serial number date to 1957.
