The back has additional wear and blemishes, and the back of the neck has numerous small dings. The edges of the headstock have finish wear as well.

The truss rod is functional, although the neck has an S-curve on the bass side and light relief on the treble side with the truss rod nut fully loosened. The guitar has been set up to play cleanly and comfortably in this condition. The pickguard and electronics assembly dates the guitar to 1966.
