Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, block inlays, and heel-adjust truss rod. There are three tapered shims in the neck pocket to set the neck angle. The neck heel has a "20 AN 68 B" stamp.

Electronics: Original Fender single coil pickups with adjustable pole pieces, and original wiring harness with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The neck pickup has a "Nov 14" date stamp; the pot codes are obscured.

Pickup Measurements: 10.9k (neck), 11.3k (bridge)

Hardware: Original; the plastic surround for the neck pickup is missing.

Case Details: Hardshell case

Cosmetic Condition: The bass has aged nicely; the finish is a smooth semigloss with light dings, scratches, and other small blemishes throughout. The sides of the body have numerous small dings, and the back has moderate buckle rash and some worming. The back of the neck has numerous small dents and dings, but is overall smooth and comfortable to play.

Serial Number: 217584

Tech Notes: Plays well with medium-low action and light neck relief. The neck sights straight until the heel, where it begins to swoop upward slightly. The truss rod is adjustable, and the frets are narrow and low with minor wear. The neck stamp and serial number date to 1968.

If you decide you'd like to return an item, please contact your Sales Rep, fill out the Return Request form below, or give us a call.

If you placed your order on Amazon or eBay, we advise issuing the return request from your account on the platform of purchase - our Customer Service team will process a refund upon receipt of the item(s).

Most new items may be returned within 30 days of delivery and most vintage & used items may be returned within 3 days of delivery for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. Please pack the product safely for the journey back to us. If the product was shipped for free, the charge will be deducted from refund, unless the reason for the return is outside normal circumstances.

Please contact us as soon as possible if your order was received incorrectly, damaged, or defective. Most times we will give you an RA number (Return Authorization). Why is that number important? This will allow us to speed up the process of the return.

We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee based on the return condition. Some items we just can’t take back for returns, due to a one time function like strings or drums heads and other times it’s not sanitary to do so with microphones or harmonicas.
