Body Details: Laminate maple semi-hollow body with maple center block. The Bigsby is original to the guitar. The two inlays between the bridge and Bigsby cover the holes that would have been used for a stop tail piece.

Neck Details: One piece mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood board and split parallelogram inlays.
Electronics: Original PAF pickups and original wiring harness with black beauty caps. The guitar never had a ground wire from the factory so a small wire has been run across the top of the guitar from the base of the bridge and into the f-hole. This wire is covered by the pick guard. The wire was not soldered in place in order to preserve the originality of the guitar. It is simply wrapped around the bridge post and one of the pickup leads.
Pickup Measurements: neck 7.7k ohms bridge 8.0k ohms
Hardware: The hardware is all original except for the tuners. The original tuners are included in the case, but the tips are deteriorating.
Weight: 8lbs 15oz
Modifications/Repairs: The tuners have been replaced (originals in case). There is a ground wire added from the treble side bridge post, under the pickguard, and into the f-hole. The ground wire is not soldered in place; it is not permanent.
Case Details: Original hard shell case. The handle is broken off but is included in the case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar is in clean condition with minimal play wear. There is finish checking all over. There is some very light buckle rash on the back. There are various light dings and dents on the top and around the edges of the binding. The finish on the neck is lightly worn from playing. The metal hardware is nicely tarnished with age.

Tech Notes: -The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide with medium height and light play wear. -The serial number dates to 1960.
