Body Details: Laminated maple top, back, and sides -- The area around the output jack is blown out. A black plastic plate has been installed over the damaged area with the output jack secured to it. -- There are open screw holes on either side of the bridge and near the bass side f-hole.

Neck Details: Three-piece set maple neck neck with a rosewood board, trapezoid pearloid inlays -- The neck has been reset. There is some slight chipping in the finish around the heel/body seem.
Electronics: Original with the volume pot code dating from 1974.
Pickup Measurements: 3.78 kΩ
Hardware: The saddles are not original -- The bridge cover is missing. -- A thumb rest appears to have installed at some point. It has since been removed leaving an open screw hole and a "foot print" in the finish. -- The strap buttons are not original. They are compatible with dunlop style strap locks (locks not included)

Modifications/Repairs: The wood around the output jack is blown out. The output jack is now secured to a small plastic panel. -- The neck has been reset
Case Details: Non-original Hard Shell
Cosmetic Condition: This bass shows nice aging and play wear. Finish checking is present throughout. Light buckle rash exists on the back of the body. There is finish checking around the neck/fretboard seam - the seam is secure. There are a lot of other various nicks, chips, and dings throughout.
Serial Number: 398353
Tech Notes: Currently set up with 45-100 gauge strings, low action, and optimal neck relief. The frets are wide with moderate height showing light play wear. -- The serial number dates from 1974 or 1975. The electronics date from 1974. There is a "2" embossed above the serial signifying this bass guitar as a factory second.
