Body Material: Maple
Body Details: Hollow maple body. There is a "5-63" stamp inside the bass f-hole. There is also a repaired crack in the side of the body at the output jack; this has been reinforced with a non-original jack plate.

Neck Details: Bolt-on maple neck with unbound ebonized maple fingerboard, dot inlays, and non-adjustable steel reinforcement. Two inlay dots have been replaced.
Electronics: Original single coil pickups and electronics, with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The pickups have 1963 date stamps, and the visible pot codes date to 1963 as well.
Pickup Measurements: 10.7k (neck), 11.2k (bridge)
Hardware: Two inlay dots have been replaced, and a jack plate has been installed to reinforce a repaired crack.

Case Details: Hardshell case
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has aged nicely, with plenty of natural checking and scattered patches of finish wear present. The back of the body has some heavier buckle rash, and there is a repaired crack along the side of the body. The neck has some small dings, none of which impede playability.
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and light neck relief. The frets are narrow and moderately low, with some wear in the first position. The body stamp, pickup dates, and pot codes all date to 1963.
