Body Details: Hollow body with laminated maple back, sides, and top. Many missing areas of binding have been replaced, particularly along the neck joint and on the heel cap.

Neck Details: Set-in two piece maple neck with walnut center strip, bound rosewood fretboard, thumbnail inlays, zero fret, and headstock truss rod adjustment. The neck has been reset and several areas of binding have been replaced or reglued.
Electronics: Original Super'Tron pickups and original electronics, with 3-way pickup selector switch, 3-way tone switch, master volume control, neck and bridge pickup volume controls, and mute switch on the lower bout. Some solder joints have been touched up and repaired. The pots do not have standardized date codes.
Pickup Measurements: 4.2k (neck), 4.5k (bridge)
Hardware: Original. The tip for the mute switch is missing.
Weight: 7 lbs
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows a fair amount of age-related wear, with many small finish chips on the body and light checking present. The original binding has deteriorated in the usual manner for Gretsch guitars from this era, and several missing pieces have been replaced. The pickup rings are cracked in a few areas, but are secured with screws. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash, with one spot of worn-through finish, and the back of the neck has various small chips, dents, and dings. The headstock veneer has various cracks present as well.
Modifications/Repairs: -The neck has been reset -The heel cap and many areas of binding have been replaced -Several solder joints and electrical connections have been repaired
Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and minor neck relief, and is currently set up with 10 gauge strings with a wound third. The truss rod has somewhat limited adjustability. The narrow frets are low with some mild wear present. The serial number and appointments date this instrument to 1969.
Case Details: Hardshell case. The handle is broken, but the case is secure.
