Neck Details: Neck-through body design with three piece mahogany/maple/mahogany neck, bound ebony fretboard, and split triangle inlays. A new bone nut has been made in-house.
Electronics: Original Yamaha pickups and electronics, with 3-way toggle switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The tone controls are push-push knobs to split their respective pickups. The control pots do not have standardized date codes.
Pickup Measurements: 8.3k (neck), 8.4k (bridge)
Hardware: Original; the bridge volume control is cracked but still functional, and the pickguard is missing.

Cosmetic Condition: The guitar shows moderate cosmetic wear, appropriate to its age. The finish is glossy with light scratches and small dings on the front. The back and edges have additional finish wear; there is heavy chipping and wear along the back edges of the bouts. The bottom edge of the body has additional wear, and the back has mild buckle rash. The bridge volume knob is cracked around the skirt, but is fully functional. The back of the neck has a few small dings, and the headstock face has mild wear. There is also a chip out of the bass corner of the headstock.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action, and is currently set up with 10s. The neck has a mild twist, resulting in more relief on the treble side, but the guitar has been set up to accommodate this. The frets show mild wear. The serial number and model date the guitar to the 1980s.
