These are uniquely sensitive pickups which nail the vintage character and tone of the original design. Primarily used by slide players like Ry Cooder, Jason Isbell and Blake Mills, these Lap Steel pickups have a special magic with open tunings and bottleneck playing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe neck pickup is Mojo's reissue of a Teisco-Spec Gold Foil pickup from the 60's with a custom textured black surround. This pickup is the traditional choice for this style of guitar with a clear and detailed voice that provides a nice complement \u0026amp; contrast to the bridge pickup, tonally. All six strings remain in-phase in the middle position.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe bridge is a vintage-style trem with a steel block and saddles. There’s also VIPots audio taper pots, a PIO cap and cloth covered wiring with a Pure Tone jack.
