As such, included here is a treble boost, built with a carefully selected and meticulously tested vintage germanium transistor. J’s preferred setting is the Rangemaster set to the stock sound, a bright and piercing tone. The Wren and Cuff pedal includes  this setting, as well as a wider range boost option via a toggle switch for more tonal flexibility. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe pedal also includes a final critical and utilitarian feature: a footswitch dedicated to the volume output of the Big Muff. For years, guitar players have tried to work around the output limitations of the Big Muff by boosting before and\/ or after, affecting the tone and response of the effect. This pedal has the solution: a third footswitch which selects between two user-selected output volumes. Dial a lower volume in for the rhythm sound, and a wide open volume for lead. Simple. Genius.
