The finish is heavily checked with light dents and scuffs throughout. There is one significant scuff on the face of the body on the bass side horn. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash. There is some slight separation of the fingerboard from the neck close to the nut. This is a factory defect and not affecting playability (see pictures).
Serial Number: 115665
Comments: -The guitar plays well with medium/high action. The neck has a bit of a twist and some sloping up at the tongue. The truss rod has limited adjustability. Because of these issues, the guitar sets up best with light gauge strings and medium action. -The serial number dates to 1970-75.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0343/4368/2183/products/gibson-bass-guitars-4-string-gibson-l9-s-ripper-natural-1974-6733247-28530115346567.jpg?v=1651376460
