Made in the same Kalamazoo, MI factory that Gibson occupied from 1917 to 1984, Heritage Guitars use much of the same know-how and original equipment to create their own brand of solid, semi-hollow, hollowbody guitars with lasting looks and timeless tone.
When Gibson left their Kalamazoo factory, many of the workers stayed behind. It’s here that Heritage Guitars was born. Founded by Jim Duerloo, Marv Lamb, and JP Moats, and now co-owned by Bill Paige and Mike Korpak, Heritage Guitars open the next chapter of their factory’s storied legacy with Standard, Artisan Aged, and Custom Shop Collections rooted in history, tradition, and the principles of the world’s finest lutherie, developed on the same benches they use today.
The Heritage Standard Collection features six core models with classic silhouettes and specs designed to please both the contemporary player and the purist. The H-137, H-150, H-530, H-535, H-575, and Eagle Classic each come in a range of tried-and-true finishes that will never go out of style.
Artisan Aged Collection
Using Custom Shop techniques and the expertise of their master luthiers, Heritage Guitars relics select core models from the Standard Collection to create the Artisan Aged Collection. Built to pay homage to the guitars that have given us a lifetime of sound, these H-137 AA, H-150 AA, H-530 AA, H-535 AA, and H-575 AA models are hand-aged to look, and sound, like the real thing.
