Neck: Medium/large shaped neck, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Open-back tuners, two pickups (rated at 9.2 kOhms in the neck and 9.5 k in the bridge), two selector switches, volume and tone controls (original 1965 pots)
Cosmetic Condition: The top is in very nice shape for its age, with just a few minor dings and some slight oxidation to the hardware. The back and sides are just as clean, though there is some lifting to the binding near the neck joint. The neck and headstock are nice and clean, with great checking lines and a couple of small chips bringing some character to the mix. This Airline is taking off!
Playability: The strings are set up nicely with medium action, play great, and ring out clearly across the board. There is relief in the neck that is preventing the action from being lowered. The guitar would benefit from a refret for optimum playability.
