Neck: Maple neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, maple fretboard, 10” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Wilkinson tuners, two Lollar pickups (rated at 5.5 kOhms in the neck and 6.7 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: The top is looking great, with just a handful of dings, mostly along the lower bout, and a few dings and dents along the rear tail edge. The back and sides have a good amount of buckle rash, dings and chips, but nothing unexpected for a guitar built in 1969. The word “MEW” has been scratched into the bass side shoulder. The neck and headstock are nice and glossy, with several dings and across both, as well as exposed drill holes along the back of the headstock from the original tuners. This understated Aria is ready to rock!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board. The frets are small and flat. The guitar would benefit from a refret for optimum playability.
Modifications/Repairs: Lollar pickups installed. The pickups were retrofitted to the guitar, including a slight route under the bridge. Repro wiring and tuners. “Mew” scratched into the back of the body.
