Body: Mahogany

Neck: Mahogany neck with a small “C” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and oval inlays (Serial number dates to 1963)

Pickups/Hardware: Schaller tuners, (rated at 6.7kOhms in the neck and 6.9k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls (original with 1964 pot dates and patent number sticker pickups.)

Cosmetic Condition: The top is in nice shape for its age with mostly minor pick marks and a few dents in the wood. The pickguard has shrunk slightly causing a small crack near the output jack but overall it is in nice shape. The back has some light swirls and scratches in the lacquer but no signs of buckle rash or serious damage. The neck is nice and glossy for the most part with just a few minor blemishes that don’t affect playability. The headstock has some usual wear and tear as well as some exposed drill holes from where the original tuners were installed but overall it is looking great. This Crestwood is gorgeous!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The neck has been reset. The nut has been replaced. The tuners have been replaced. There are repaired cracks in the body at the neck joint. The guitar has been fully oversprayed. There is a touched up repair next to the treble side post of the ABR. Replaced tuners (Schaller’s installed).
