Neck: "Japanese 52 Tele reissue neck" from 1993 with soft “V” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, maple fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Vintage-style tuners, two single-coil pickups (rated at 7.1 kOhms in the neck and 6.3 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls. Body hardware is from a GE Smith Telecaster.
Cosmetic Condition: The GE Smith body on this player is aging nicely, with an intermittent smattering of dings and scratches along the top, and a few light dings and scratches on the back and sides. The neck has a few light dings, but otherwise feels glossy and smooth, while the headstock has remained nice and clean. This Tele is ready for Saturday night jams!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: A Bare Knuckle Country Boy pickup has been installed. CTS pots and a Switchcraft jack and switch have been added. The original “U” neck has ben replaced.
