Neck: Maple neck (stamp reads 15MAR66B) with a medium “c” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Schaller tuners, two Jaguar pickups (rated at 6.6 kOhms in the neck and 5.9 k in the bridge), three pickup selector switches, rhythm circuit, volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: Holy Schnikes! This ’66 Fender Jaguar is hard to look away from. The black body looks handsome with gorgeous wear and checking lines throughout the body. There is a noticeable chip near the tail piece. the edges have some sizable dents and chips. The back of the body has some of the finish removed and mild buckle rash. The finish on the neck has almost worn away completely, but the neck is feeling great. The headstock has some edge wear and checking lines. There is a superglue run on the face of the headstock coming from the low E grommet. This Fender Jag is packed full of mojo and ready to hit the stage.
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been refretted. The tuners, string tree and nut have been replaced.
