Body: Alder

Neck: Maple neck with a medium-round profile, 1 1/2” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays (pencil mark reads “9-61")

Pickups/Hardware: Fender tuners, two single-coils (Rated at 7.6kOhms in the neck and 7.3k in the bridge), volume and tone controls (Electronics all original, ’61 pot codes)

Cosmetic Condition: The finish is all original and the bass appears to have spent a lot of time in a smokey environment. The finish has been buffed in many spots throughout the body but overall the bass is looking nice for its age. There is some average play wear as well as some drill holes near the bridge but no structural damage. The back and sides have a fair amount of finish wear around the edges as well as some signs of buckle rash. The neck also looks to have been sanded down but it is smooth for the most part with light dings, dents and wear along the edges. The headstock has some average dings and discoloration but no cracks or repairs. This vintage Jazz Bass has a ton of character and plenty of life left in it!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: Refret, hole drilled in back (likely from waist belt), replaced CBS era tuners, a few replaced screws

Weight: 9lbs 4oz

Case: Two cases included: Original hardshell (badly damaged) and a repro tweed hardshell
