Neck: Maplee neck with a medium “c” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7 1/4” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Fender F-style tuners, one single-coil (rated at 5.6 kOhms), volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: This all black Musicmaster is one sinister six-string. The finish on the body has several marks of wear. There is a blemish near the bridge and many other small pick marks. Edge wear is visible and the sides have many dents and nicks, some of which have removed the finish. The back has a large crack in the finish and buckle rash. The neck is in stellar shape. The headstock has mild edge wear, though the Fender logo looks brand new. This ’78 Musicmaster is gorgeous!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across most of the board. There is minimal buzz above the 12th fret. The neck would benefit from a new, properly cut nut.
Modifications/Repairs: non-original nut
Weight: 6lbs 15oz
Case: Original hardshell
