Body: Sunburst, original finish

Neck: Maple neck with a medium-round profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays (no visible date/pencil markings)

Pickups/Hardware: Open-back tuners, one split single-coil (Rated at 10.4kOhms), volume and tone controls (Electronics all original, ’59 pot codes)

Cosmetic Condition: The finish is all original and well worn but this P-Bass is looking good for its age. The top has a fair amount of dings and dents as well as some pick marks and slight shrinkage in the pickguard but no heavy damage. The sides have a fair amount of chips and dings, mostly along the lower bout but the bass is free of any structural wear. The back has some buckle rash that has worn through the finish as well as some scratches and dings near the strap pin but nothing too out of the ordinary for an instrument this age. The neck lacquer is well worn but the neck is still nice and smooth for the most part with mostly light blemishes here and there. The headstock has usual wear around the edges, especially the top, but no cracks or repairs. This P-Bass is looking gorgeous!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: It appears that the neck had been glued into the pocket at some point, but it is now able to be taken out of the pocket and adjusted although it still fits the pocket very tightly. The bass has been refretted as well.
