Body: Original Black finish

Neck: Maple neck (serial number dates to 1981) with a “C” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 1 5/8” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Fender tuners, three pickups (rated at 5.7 kOhms in the neck and middle, and 10.6 k in the bridge), five-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: The top is nicely worn, with plenty of pick wear, light scratches, dings and swirling to be found. The back and sides are similarly worn, with the addition of light case rash along most of the back, several long scuffs, and a handful of finish chips along the sides. The neck is nicely sanded and feels great, while the headstock has remained mostly unscathed. This Strat is ready to hit the road!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The pickguard has been replaced. A Seymour Duncan Hot Rail has been installed in the bridge position. The electronics have been partially rewired with cloth covered wire. The switch has been replaced. The backplate is included in the case, though there are no screws. The neck finish has been partially sanded.
