Body: Ash

Neck: Maple neck (stamp reads “22oct72b” with a medium “c” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, maple fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Schaller tuners, three single-coils (rated at 6.9 kOhms in the neck, 7.1 k in the middle and 7 k in the bridge), five-way pickup selector switch, one volume and two tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: This ’73 Stratocaster is for the purists! the natural finish is pretty stunning, and has accrued all sorts of color and character over the years. The top and sides have some small nicks and dents. The back of the body has some buckle rash. There is a screw missing from the back plate. The solid ash body has a surprising weight to it. The neck has some minor nicks and dents. Thea headstock has exposed screw holes from the previous tuning machines. This natural Stratocaster is a beast.

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The tuners have been replaced. The guitar has been refretted. The nut has been replaced with a bone nut. The trem arm is missing. The pots have been replaced, the guitar appears to have been rewired in 1976 based on the codes. Two of the backplate screws are missing.
