This 1965 Strat features a bright, clean sunburst and some slight modifications that make it a standout player for those who want to dig in a bit more.  It’s had a refret with low, wide ’59 Gibson-style frets, and its playability is great, especially on bends.  It’s had a 5-way pickup selector added as well to replace the original 3-way, making it nice and easy to hit those glassy “in-between” pickup positions.  With mother-of-pearl dots, this is a modern-looking, elegant Strat that has a lot to offer in the way of playability.  Its pickups are dry and even, and its shallow tapered neck has no finish up to the seventh fret, with smooth wear all around.  This is a great-looking and unique Strat that any player needs to examine.

Body: Alder with three-tone sunburst. Unusually bright-colored finish.

Neck: Maple neck with rosewood fretboard, mother-of-pearl dots. Shallow, slightly tapered profile.

Pickups/Hardware: Three dry, even single-coil Strat pickups.

Setup/Playability: Very nice--comfortable for chording due to thin neck profile, with smooth and easy bending up and down with the refret.

Cosmetic Condition: No neck finish up to about the seventh fret. Very clean body finish, with minor wear.

Modifications: 5-way pickup switch installed. Refret with wide, low frets.
