Finish Details: The finish on the neck is original. The body has a professional relic and finish in Ice Blue Metallic.
Body Material: Alder
Body Details: -Alder solid body. -This body may not be an original Fender body. It was thought to be a refinished Fender body by the previous owner. Because of the lack of the usual flat spot around the output jack and the lack of any locating hole in the neck pocket, this may be a reproduction Tele body. The string ferrules are recessed which is not correct for this era Telecaster. Detailed internal photos are provided. -The body has a professional relic and finish in Ice Blue Metallic.

Neck Details: One piece maple neck with black dot inlays. 3MAR72B neck stamp.
Electronics: Neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan, cannot determine model. The bridge pickup has plastic coated leads consistent with this era Telecaster. The selector switch is also era correct. The volume and tone controls are newer CTS pots.
Pickup Measurements: neck 6.6k ohms bridge 5.9k ohms
Hardware: The hardware appears to be all original Fender parts except for the neck bolts and pick guard. These have been replaced.
Modifications/Repairs: -The guitar has been refretted. -The pick guard is not original. -This body may not be an original Fender body. It has been professionally finished and relic'ed. -Neck pickup is a Seymour Duncan, cannot determine model. -The volume and tone pots have been replaced. -The neck bolts are not original.
Case Details: Original hard shell case.
Cosmetic Condition: The finish on the neck is glossy but well worn with light dents and scuffs throughout. The body has a professional relic and finish in Ice Blue Metallic. The metal hardware is nicely tarnished. There a very small crack on the back of the headstock under the G string tuner (see picture). This is not affecting playability.

Tech Notes: -The guitar plays well with low action. There is a slight backbow in the neck, the guitar still plays great without buzzing. The frets are narrow and tall with light play wear. -the serial number dates to 1972-73. The neck dates to 1972.
