Neck: Maple neck (sn dates to ’73-’74) with a “c” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Fender “f-style” tuners (rated at 6 kOhms in the neck and 5.9 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: Holy guacamole! This 1974 tele is jam-packed full of vintage vibes! The olympic white finish has aged to a nog-like cream.There is a crack in the finish running from the volume plate. The pickguard has some damage on the face and near the truss rod pocket. The edges have many spots of wear. The back has some mild buckle wear. The neck has a dent near the third fret but is otherwise looking excellent. The headstock has developed some checking lines but is looking great. This ’74 tele will have you rocking around the christmas tree!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: Guard is cracked at the lower bass side corner.
