This noteworthy product has sold but will live on in our Hall of Fame.

Far-removed from the blonde twang boxes of the Fifties, yet still possessing a simple class that befits its origins, these paisley Telecasters are truly special.  Only available in 1968 and 1969, they’re now loved by many through legend and Mexican reissue, but known only to a few.

Body: Alder with pink paisley wrap

Neck: Maple neck with maple cap fretboard 1 5/8" wide nut, and black dot inlays, "3 SEP 68 B" neck stamp

Pickups/Hardware: all original, two single-coil pickups (cloth-covered wire throughout, '66 pots, measuring 6.75kOhms in the neck and 5.9k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls, and original ashtray bridge cover.

Cosmetic Condition: This is one fantastic looking guitar! Easily the best Paisley Tele we've ever had. This one has light checking throughout with only a couple spots where the lacquer cracks are deep. The neck is smooth and clean with only some small dings here and there. The fretboard is the same, very minimal wear that does not affect playability one bit. The headstock looks like new. This is a beautiful addition to any Telecaster collection and it also plays great!

Playability: The strings are at a medium-low height, play amazingly, and ring out clearly across the fretboard.
