Cosmetic Condition: This is one beautiful bird! The Gibson Byrdland is an elusive guitar, but we managed to get a hold of this gorgeous 1963 Byrdland. The top of the body has aged well, covered in attractive checking lines and some light play wear on the guard. The hold hardware has patinated nicely and has worn over the years. The sides of the body have a lot of edgewear. The binding has begun cracking in some places. The back of the body has some light buckle wear but its looking great. The neck is smooth and glossy and the headstock is in excellent condition. The Byrd is ready to spread its wings!
Playability: Plays well with low action. Frets are wide and low with some play wear.
Modifications/Repairs: The binding on the treble side horn and waist appears to have been reglued. The finish is worn off the binding in this area.
