Body: Mahogany

Neck: Mahogany neck with a medium/large “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Repro open-back tuners, two pickups (rated at 22.6 kOhms in the neck and 7.5 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: This ’59 is loaded with character! You’d be hard-pressed to find a clean square centimeter on this finely checked, dinged, scratched and toured body, and thats why we love it. The neck has plenty of texture, but overall feels nice and comfortable. The headstock shows the scars of multiple repaired cracks, as well as plenty of other battle scars that only add to this mean look of this EB-0. Get this Gibson back on the road!

Playability: The strings are set-up thoughtfully, with medium action. The frets are wide and low.

Modifications/Repairs: The headstock has been broken and repaired multiple times. The first time it was repaired the finish was touched up. The tuners have been replaced with repo versions and the tuner holes have been reamed larger to accommodate their installation. The body has been routed to allow for a bridge pickup and selector switch. there are extra holes drilled in the top for a thumb rest. The wiring configuration has been changed from a single pickup with volume and tone to two pickups with volume, tone and a three-way selector switch.
