Electronics: Large Humbucker pickup with center pole pieces and black plastic cover, volume control, tone control, baritone push button switch -- The baritone switch has been replaced with a NOS era correct replacement. All other electronics are original and free from signs of modification or repair. The pot codes date from 1960.

Hardware: The tuning machines are not original. Three of the four original tuners are included within the hardshell
Modifications/Repairs: Non-original tuning machines -- The baritone switch has been replaced

Cosmetic Condition: This bass shows moderate to heavy play wear. Finish checking is present. The back of the neck has been worn down to the mahogany. Minor nicks, dings, and other various blemishes are present throughout.
Serial Number: A36128
Tech Notes: Currently, set up with short scale 45-100 gauge strings and low action. The frets are wide with low to moderate height and show light play wear. -- The serial number dates this instrument from 1961.
