Body: Mahogany

Neck: Maple neck with a medium soft “V” profile, 1 5/8” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Two pickups, four-way varitone switch, independent volume and tone controls (Original electronics with one visible 1972 pot date, the bridge pickup has a patent number sticker)

Cosmetic Condition: The top has plenty of character, with several dings and scratches, a handful of small dents, and a nice bit of thumb wear. The back has a strong amount of buckle rash, going down to the bare wood in one area, while the sides are mostly clean for their age, with just a few small dings to be found. The neck are headstock are smooth and glossy, with a bit of guitar hanger wear and edge wear. This Gibson is ready rumble!

Playability: The strings play well with medium action. Action adjustability is limited as the truss rod is minimally functional.

Modifications/Repairs: The truss rod appears to have been replaced as it is a different size than the standard Gibson of this era. If this is true it means that the fingerboard has been removed and reglued. The back of the neck may have been reshaped and refinished as well. Though it is difficult to verify any of these repairs because the finish blacklights evenly, as if it were original.
