Neck Details: One piece mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood board and double parallelogram inlays.
Electronics: Original no-sticker PAFs and original wiring harness. The pots are enclosed in cans and all solder joint are untouched except for the bridge tone pot. The can covering the bridge tone pot has been opened up in order to repair the solder joint connecting the tone cap to the back of the pot. This pot dates to 1957.
Pickup Measurements: neck 7.5k ohms bridge 8.0k ohms
Hardware: Original hardware except the pickguard has been replaced with an era correct pickguard, and the tail piece has been replaced with a repaired era correct tail piece.
Modifications/Repairs: -The can covering the bridge tone pot has been opened up in order to repair the solder joint connecting the tone cap to the back of the pot. -The tailpiece has been replaced with a repaired era correct tailpiece. There are extra holes under the tailpiece bracket from a previously installed tailpiece. -The pickguard and pickguard hardware have been replaced with era correct parts. The guitar top has a screw hole underneath the upper part of the pickguard near the fingerboard where a repro pickguard once was.
Case Details: Hard shell case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has light play wear for its age. The finish is glossy with checking and light dents and scratches throughout. There is a small hairline humidity crack on the side of the body, inside the cutaway. This is stable and not affecting playability. The back of the body has light buckle rash and some light black scuffs throughout. There is wear around the edges of the headstock and a cigarette burn by the low E tuner.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are small with light play wear. The serial number and factory order number date to 1957.
