Body: Maple laminate

Neck: Mahogany neck with a “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Original hardware, original pickups (rated at 7.8 kOhms in the neck and 8.3 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: This guitar has some serious character! There is some checking, dings and scratching throughout the top with a bit of oxidation on the hardware and in the finish where exposed by the checking. The sides have edge wear and dings and the back has some additional dings, chips and checking. The neck finish has mostly chipped off and left the neck smooth and the headstock has the edge wear, chips, and dings you’d expect from a 60+ year old guitar. This ES-295 is good as gold!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been refretted, the nut has been replaced, and the G string tuner is bent but functional
