Body: Maple

Neck: Mahogany neck with a slim/medium "C" profile, 1 11/16" wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12" radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Kluson Deluxe tuners, Original PAF humbuckers, three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: This beautiful 1961 Cherry ES-335 has us at a loss for words. This guitar plays like an absolute heaven-made guitar, and looks amazing. The body is very worn and in its entirety, with lots of lacquer wear and play marks throughout the body. There are checking lines covering the body as well. The back shows buckle rash. The neck has a generous amount of playwear that was worn the lacquer away. The headstock has some edgwear and small nicks in the finish. The G and B string tuners are repro Kluson tuning machines, and are a slightly lighter color. This ES-335 will have you falling in love with rock and roll all over again.

Playability: The guitar plays well with low action. It has vintage correct frets that have only very minimal play wear.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge on the guitar is not original (original bridge in the case). The nut has been replaced (original nut in case). The tuners are original except for the "a" tuner. The tuner tips have been replaced. The "g" and "b" tuners have been replaced with repro Klusons (the originals are in the case). The guitar has been refretted with vintage correct fretwire. There is a small section of binding replaced on the bass side of the neck by the 17th and 18th frets.
