Body: Mahogany

Neck: Mahogany neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuners, two EMG pickups (rated at 16.9 kOhms in the neck and 17 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls

Cosmetic Condition: The top has plenty of ding and pick scratches giving this player some real cred. The back and sides are similarly smattered with play wear, with a heavy dose buckle rash completing the ensemble. The neck is smooth and comfortable, though there is some finish wear visible. The headstock has a few lacquer chips along the face and edges, but otherwise is looking good. this Explorer is road ready!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: Active EMG pickups have been installed.
