Body: Spruce top with mahogany back and sides
Neck: Three-piece mahogany neck with a “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Original hardware, no electronics
Cosmetic Condition: There is some checking, dings, and play wear throughout the top but it’s looking great for the age. The sides have some dings and scratches and there’s scratches on the back and a piece of wood has been grafted on toward the bottom. The neck is mostly smooth with some patches of wear and the headstock is looking great with some dings. This J-45-D is a D-light!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: There is a piece of wood grafted onto the back and this area has been refinished. There is a long crack repair on the back. The guitar has had a recent neck reset and bridge reglue. The truss rod cover is not original.
