Body: Maple cap on a mahogany body

Neck: Maple neck with a “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, ebony fretboard, 12” radius, and block inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Gibson deluxe tuners, two humbuckers (rated at 9.2 kOhms in the neck and 7.9 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls. Pots date to 1978 (serial number to 1979).

Cosmetic Condition: This Silverburst is intense! Firstly, the checking lines on this thing are incredible, secondly, time has aged the finish to a very unique green tint. The top has plenty of dings, dents, chips and scratches that give this beast a great road worn look. The back and sides have a fair amount of buckle rash and various dings, dents and scratches. The neck is very nicely worn, with a large amount of the maple exposed between the 3rd and 5th frets, as well as along the edges of the fretboard. The headstock has several finish chips along the crown of the headstock, but otherwise is holding up well. This Les Paul is begging for tour!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The bridge has been filed down to accommodate the very worn saddles. Replaced pickups (Gibson Patent No. embossed in neck, and 80’s Dimarzio in bridge), pickup rings, and nut (with some file marks on the board). Glued crack inside the control cavity.
