Neck Details: Three piece mahogany neck with bound rosewood board and volute.
Electronics: -Original pickups and wiring. -There are two visible 1972 pot codes. -Some solder joints have been touched up. -One wire to the tone control has been replaced. -The guitar has two slide switches for phase and hi/low output. It has a three way pickup selector switch and a three way tone selector. There is a master volume control that functions at all times. The treble and bass controls are only engaged when the tone selector is on position 2. The guitar also has a decade knob that functions similar a tone control, but very subtle. It is most noticeable in low output mode with a loud amp. -A portion of the decade knob is cracked off, but the knob is still fully functional.
Pickup Measurements: NA (can't be measured because of wiring scheme).
Hardware: Original hardware except for replaced tuners, strap button and pickup selector switch tip. The pick guard is missing.
Modifications/Repairs: -The tuners, strap button and pickup selector switch tip have all been replaced. -Several of the control cavity cover screws are not original. -Some solder joints in the harness have been touched up and one wire has been replaced. -There are two extra holes on the bas sides of the body from a lefty pick guard that was installed at some point.
Case Details: Original hard shell case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has moderate play wear. The finish is glossy with dents and scratches throughout. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash. The chrome hardware is tarnished. The back corner of the control cavity cover is broken off.
Serial Number: 892669
Tech Notes: -The guitar plays well with low action. The frets are wide with medium height and light play wear. The truss rod has limited adjustability so the guitar sets up best with light gauge strings. -The serial number dates to 1973-75. The pots date to 1972.
