Body: Three-piece maple cap on mahogany body
Neck: Maple neck with a medium “C” ‘60s style profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and trapezoid inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson tuners, two humbuckers (rated at 7.4kOhms in the neck and 7.3k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls (original pickups and wiring with 1983 pot dates and patent number embossed pickups. Some solder joints have been touched up.)
Cosmetic Condition: The body and neck have moderate play wear but overall the guitar is looking good for its age. There is buckle rash on the back of the body and some finish missing from the back of the neck. The neck was recently professionally re-set and plays great. The guitar has light checking throughout the finish. The headstock has some usual wear around the edges but no signs of any cracks or repairs. This ‘80s LP has held up great!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board. The frets are new and have no signs of play wear!
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has had a recent neck reset and been refretted. Some solder joints in the wiring harness have been touched up.
