MON-SAT: 11-7 | SUN: 11-5 | 888-686-7872
Neck: Mahogany neck with a medium "C" profile, 1 11/16" wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12" radius, and block inlays
Neck Thickness: .86" at the 1st fret, .97" at the 12th fret
Pickups/Hardware: Kluson Deluxe tuners, no electronics
Cosmetic Condition: This 1959 LG-1 is a piece of history. The body looks excellent for its age, with a ton of gorgeous checking lines and light playwear adding to its character. There is a crack on the top that has been repaired. The back and sides have checking lines and light wear. The neck has some small marks and the headstock has some light edgewear but looks great.
Playability: Plays well with medium action. The saddle is very short so action adjustability is limited. The guitar would benefit from a neck reset for optimum playability. The bridge is lifting very slightly but it is secured by bolts and is stable.
Modifications/Repairs: there are two repaired cracks in the top of the body, one on each side of the tongue. The nut has been replaced. The crack on the bass side of the tongue has been reinforced with a cleat.
Weight: 3lbs 15oz
Case: Original Chipboard Case
