Body: Mahogany

Neck: Three-piece mahogany neck with a medium/small “C” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, ebony fretboard, 12” radius, and block inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuners, three original Tarback pickups (rated at 5.1 kOhms in the neck, 7.2 k in the middle and 7.1 k in the bridge), two three-way pickup selector switches (with all pickup combinations possible), master volume and two tone controls (two visible 1974 pot dates)

Cosmetic Condition: Boy oh boy is this SG incredible! The top is smattered in dings and pick scratches, but nothing a 70’s era Gibson can’t handle. The back and sides show more battle scars, with a heavy dose of buckle rash thrown in for flavor. The neck is nice and glossy beyond two larger wear patches that span the 9th and 10th frets. The headstock is free of any major blemishes, though it does have plenty of surface scratches and dings. This SG is So Good!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The strap buttons and nut have been replaced. The wiring configuration has been changed, with two pickup selector switches allowing for any combination of pickups. The guitar has also been refretted.
