Neck: Alder neck with a medium “c” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuners, one humbucker (rated at 6.1 kOhms), volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: This SG I is a moody, rock machine. The dark cherry finish is glossy and in pretty good shape despite a few nicks and bumps. The back of the body has some light buckle wear and some scuffs in the finish on the bout. The neck is smooth and glossy, with just one light scratch near the twelfth fret. The headstock has some light edgewear on the top edge but shows no fractures or breaks. This ’74 Gibson SG I is devilishly handsome and will be a head turner certain!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has been refinished.
Weight: 6.1 lbs
