Neck: Mahogany neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 9/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and block inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Gibson tuners, two humbuckers (rated at 5.2 kOhms in the neck and 9.7 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls (pots date to 1978)
Cosmetic Condition: The top is loaded with character, with its many dings and scratches, as well as a couple of stable cracks (one along the controls, and the other located between the bass side of the neck pickup ring and the bass side cutout). The back and sides have a strong dose of buckle rash, as well as a smattering of dings and scratches. The neck has some nice texture, including a noticeable finish chip behind the 15th fret. The headstock has a nice little chunk missing from the top of its back side, as well as a noticeable repair at the volute. Beyond these there is a fair amount of light scratches to be found. This SG is ready for tour!
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Case: Original hardshell
