Body: Spruce top with mahogany back and sides

Neck: Mahogany neck (the serial number dates to 1964) with a “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and sprit parallelogram inlays

Pickups/Hardware: Grover tuners, LR Baggs pickup

Cosmetic Condition: This is one heavily worn and modified vintage Gibson! The top has plenty of character, with its myriad of blemishes and the absence of its pickguard, leaving behind a kaleidoscope of textures and tones. The back and sides show a strong amount of buckle rash, nicks and dings. The binding reveals the extent of the refin as drips can be seen clearly. The neck feels slick and comfortable, while the headstock reveals unfilled drill holes from the original tuners, and a very cool two-tone look as the face is several shades lighter than the sides and back. This Jumbo is loaded with stories!

Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.

Modifications/Repairs: The inside has been spray painted black. The guitar has been refinished. An LR Baggs pickup was installed. The pickguard is missing. The neck has been reset. The saddle, pins, nut, tuners and truss rod cover have been replaced. A strap button was added at the heel.
