Body: Spruce top with maple back and sides
Neck: Three-piece maple neck with a slim/medium “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, ebony fretboard, 12” radius, and split block inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Original tuners, original pickups (rated at 7.9 kOhms in the neck and 7.7 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume and tone controls
Cosmetic Condition: There are some light scratches, dings, and swirling on the top but is definitely still looking good. The sides have some checking and finish cracks and the back has some nice widespread buckle rash. The neck has a bit of wear and the headstock is mostly clean with some normal wear and tear.
Playability: The strings are nice and low, play great, and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: The neck has been reset. There are two repaired cracks by the output jack and by the volume controls. A gold jackplate has been added to reinforce the output jack. The serial number dates to 1970-72. The lack of volute and the wide nut width suggest it is from 1970.
