Neck Details: One piece mahogany neck with bound ebony board.
Electronics: Original patent number sticker pickups and original wiring. All of the pots are enclosed in their original metal covers so no date codes are visible. The three way toggle on the treble side horn is the pickup selector. The pickups are out-of-phase in the middle position. The switch on the bass side horn is a kill switch (similar to a Gretsch). The signal is cut when the kill switch is in the middle position.
Pickup Measurements: neck 7.3k ohms bridge 7.3k ohms
Hardware: Original hardware except for replace bridge saddles. The pick guard and bracket are missing.
Modifications/Repairs: -The are several small repaired hairline cracks in the fingerboard tongue. -The saddle have been replaced.
Case Details: Hard shell case.
Cosmetic Condition: The guitar has light play wear for its age. The finish is glossy with fine checking and light dents and scuffs throughout. The back of the body has moderate buckle rash. The hardware is nicely tarnished.
Serial Number: 845683
Tech Notes: -The guitar plays well with medium/low action. The truss rod has limited adjustability so the guitar sets up best with light gauge strings. The bridge has no further downward adjustability so the guitar could benefit from a neck reset. Because it plays well in its current condition, this has not been done. -The serial number dates to 1968.
