Body: Maple laminate
Neck: Two-piece maple neck with a medium “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 14” radius, and thumbnail inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Open-back tuners, original “G” decal pickups (rated at 3.4 kOhms in the neck and 3.6 k in the bridge), three-way pickup selector switch, three-way master tone control, standby toggle switch, independent and master volume controls
Cosmetic Condition: Great condition on this ’65. The top is extraordinarily clean for a piece of this age. The back and sides have some minor swirling but the back is even free and clear of buckle rash. The neck and nice and smooth and the headstock is looking good with some minor edge wear. This Gretsch is ready to rock!
Playability: Plays well with low/medium action. The truss rod is minimally functional. The guitar would benefit from a refret for optimum playability.
Modifications/Repairs: The nut has been replaced.
