Neck Details: Two piece maple neck with a walnut center seam, bound ebony board and truss adjustment at the headstock.
Electronics: 3-way toggle pickup selector switch, 3-way toggle tone switch, off/on/on toggle switch, volume controls per pickup and a master volume control. -- The neck pickup has been spliced. -- The bridge pickup cavity has been modified. Perhaps to accommodate an alternate pickup? - Pot codes are not readily visible.
Pickup Measurements: Neck: 4.4 kΩ / Bridge: 4.1 kΩ
Hardware: Original gold hardware.
Modifications/Repairs: The neck pickup has been spliced. -- Bridge pickup cavity has been modified.
Case Details: Standard vintage Gretsch hardshell.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar shows little wear throughout. The back of the neck does show light wear throughout and some very light buckle rash can be seen above the leather pad.
Serial Number: 45299
Tech Notes: This guitar sets up well with medium-low action. The frets are very small and low showing light play wear. -- The serial number dates to 1961 though the original standard Gretsch (non-white) case dates this to 1962.
