Body: Laminate spruce top with maple back and sides
Neck: Two-piece maple neck with a large asymmetrical and ergonomic “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 7.25” radius, and block inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Open-back tuners, no electronics
Cosmetic Condition: The body is holding up quite nicely, with some nice checking lines, just a few dings, scratches and scuffs, and a bit of buckle rash to be found. The neck is mostly smooth, with just a couple of light dings to be felt. The neck binding has a few cracks, but is holding on tight. The headstock shows a light amount of edge wear and a bit of light surface scratching, but overall is looking very nice. This Gretsch is ready to sing!
Playability: The strings are set-up nicely with medium/low action, play great, and ring out clearly across the board. There is no truss rod, so adjustability is limited.
Modifications/Repairs: The guitar has had multiple braces and the bridge reglued. The bridge plate has been removed and replaced with a piece of laminate maple/mahogany. The guitar has been refretted with large frets.
