Neck: Maple neck and fretboard with a “wizard” thin profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, 16” radius, and dot inlays
Pickups/Hardware: Gotoh tuners, two humbuckers and one single-coil (rated at 10.7kOhms in the neck, 8.8k in the middle, and 17.0k in the bridge), five-way pickup selector switch, volume and tone controls (original wiring harness, original IBZ neck and middle pickups, non-original Seymour Duncan in bridge)
Cosmetic Condition: There are chips and dings throughout the body and neck but overall the guitar looks good for its age with no serious damage to be found. The neck is pencil thin and has some usual wear and tear in the lacquer but no large chips or splits. This RG550 still has some shred left in it!
Playability: The truss rod is no longer adjustable and the action is a bit higher than optimal but the strings still play well at a medium-low height and ring out clearly across the board.
Modifications/Repairs: Missing tremolo arm
Weight: 7lbs 5oz
Case: Gig bag
